1. Students will handle glue gun properly and work with floral arranging materials (wire cutters, floral tape, artificial flowers) 2. Each student can share a Fun Fact about the type of flower they have (rose, marigold, etc.) with the class (student can opt out of sharing a fact, and can share why they like that flower). 3. Students will listen to the music of a featured genre or composer.
I teach grade K-8 in public school. I had after-school clubs where we created flower pens for fundraisers. The students wanted to keep their creations for themselves. This craft is for students who are good with their hands, like using scissors, and responsible (not easily frustrated or overly playful). Students should not get frustrated or careless with these floral tools.
The students will be given a step-by-step guide or YouTube link, if they want to make flower pens at another time. I will email parents after the completion of class
