In this two learners-to-teacher debate tutoring session, a team of two students will be coached in debate skills as requested by parent. This format is perfect for the shy learner or students preparing for a speech or debate competition. Students will learn to work together as a two or three-person team. Each lesson will be tailored to the team's needs in speaking and/or debate skills.
I am a licensed teacher with over 30 years experience teaching. I have coached speaking/debate competitions and have coached many students to championships.
Homework Offered
Student team may be required to conduct research outside of class to gather facts about their topic. They will have time in class to collaborate with their teammate to refine the team's position.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
