Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about and practice competing on a formal debate team.
Teacher Mel is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick's Faculty of Law. She has also taught debating for several years and has competed on debate teams and in moot court competitions.
Students should review and develop arguments for both sides of the debate prior to each class. Contact Teacher Mel with any questions or if you're uncertain of a topic.
Students should bring pen and paper to each class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
