Description

Class Experience

Does your child struggle to have their voice heard? Maybe you child shies away from debate, perceiving it as conflict? In this one-time class, students will be assigned two different stances on a creative and kid friendly topic, then be encouraged to collaborate with teammates to defend their position, offer a rebuttal, and sway the judge to their stance for a point.  This turns debate into a fun exercise in teamwork, speech, and learning, and makes "the art of argument" FUN!

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Kahoot!
