Class Experience

(This course has a partner! After you have fun with this class, enroll in my "Dear Villain, I  Can Forgive You..." class!)

Let's pretend that you are a famous villain trying to get back into Santa's good graces in time for Christmas morning!  

We'll look at a great big list of well-known bad guys, and you'll choose the one you want to be (or create your own).  You'll write a letter to St. Nick explaining all the naughty things you've done, how unbelievably sad you are for having been so...

Students will playfully learn how to state their causes (how apologetic their naughty characters are for the bad things they've done) and request that their gift lists be honored (by skillfully and graciously asking).

I absolutely love to write and share the joy of writing, and I've taught writing for several years.  I understand that writing isn't everyone's cup of tea, so I am beyond happy to share some ways to bring your words to the surface.  Oftentimes, it's just a matter of sorting out what's happening in your brain and getting it to come out in the right order.  I'm here for you!

There will be no homework, as this is a one-time class.

Be prepared to write (pencil and paper), and we'll be in great shape!

I'll even provide some background templates that you can use with your finished letter!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Students should be comfortable with writing complete sentences and paragraphs in order to get the most fun and accomplishment from this class.
