This is a one time class about emotions and coping skills for six to nine year olds. The small group nature of the class (1-4 students) allows for a personalized experience and time to discuss how the topics relate to each child's life if they are comfortable sharing. We will be talking all about emotions. We will also talk about difficult situations students may face and how to manage when our feelings seem too big. I am a School Psychologist currently working in public schools. I received my masters in 2016 and my educational specialists degree in School Psychology in 2018. I enjoy teaching students about mindfulness, coping skills, and self care.
Learners will need a sheet of blank paper, a pencil, and any coloring supplies of their choice (crayons, markers, colored pencils)
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
