Class experience
This adventure is worrisome to talk about. How do you 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 that their kids' characters are going to Hell and make it sound okay? "Your kids are going down to Avernus. I hope they avoid the River Styx. They will return to earth as heroes. It'll be okay! I think.... I hope." You see, what happened was, a bad person (literally a politician) made a terrible deal, and now his whole town is being drug downward. Well, this campaign needs a handful of adventures to rough up the deal makers...

This class is more for fun, but it does encourage many challenging thoughts that often play out as a developing factor in life. Problem solving, creative thinking, teamwork, and morals & ethics are some examples that come to mind right away.Grades Offered
Please have a computer with a mouse if you can. Tablets are okay, but they don't interact with the maps very well. Also, Chrome and Firefox are the preferred internet browser for Roll20. Edge doesn't like to load and Safari turns Roll20 into a Picasso.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Dungeons & Dragons is a roleplaying game that involves players defeating monsters and villains using imaginary swords, axes, hammers, bows and magic. The violence involved is imaginary. The use of alcohol is a trope in this game, but not actually a key aspect - for example, the players will sometimes meet in a tavern to receive quests. There are monsters such as witches and devils in Dungeons & Dragons. Players will sometimes run across these creatures in their games, but they aren't intended to be worshiped or idolized - they are often written into the story with the expressed intention that they be defeated.
