Class Experience

5 lessons//1 Week

Lesson 1
Day 1: Embarking on the Journey
Adventurers begin their journey with an introduction to D&D basics and character creation. The world and initial quest are revealed, followed by a mini-adventure to practice core gameplay mechanics.
Lesson 2
Day 2: The Adventure Begins
After a quick recap, the main quest kicks off with its first set of challenges. Players explore the environment and interact with key NPCs, setting the stage for the adventures to come.
Lesson 3
Day 3: Rising Action
The plot thickens as players face more complex challenges, be they combat encounters or social interactions. Characters grow in power and ability as the stakes of the main quest increase.
Lesson 4
Day 4: The Plot Thickens
Tensions rise as the party approaches the climax of their adventure. Players engage in advanced problem-solving scenarios and prepare for the final challenge that awaits them.
Lesson 5
Day 5: Our Epic Conclusion
Tensions rise as the party approaches the climax of their adventure. Players engage in advanced problem-solving scenarios and prepare for the final challenge that awaits them.
Knowledge of D&D 5th Edition is recommended, but not required.

- Set of polyhedral dice (or use free online dice roller)
- Pencil and paper for notes
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, parents should be aware of the following:

- Fantasy Elements: Our game involves mild fantasy violence and emotional themes, all handled in an age-appropriate manner (equivalent to a "G" rating).
- Social Interaction: The camp encourages teamwork and roleplaying, which may challenge shy learners but fosters social skills.
- Problem-Solving: Players will face puzzles and situations requiring critical thinking, which some may find initially challenging.

We encourage parents to discuss any concerns with their children and to contact the instructor with any questions.
