In this class, students will learn French through repetition and voice variation. Repetition for language acquisition is key and will play a large part in this course, both in the form of speaking and singing (don't worry, this is a stress free environment and we will have fun!!) This is a beginner-level French class. Students are not required to have any prior knowledge of French to attend this class. I would classify this class as near-immersive, with about 80% French and 20% English to ensure student comprehension (I can tweak to accommodate students). I will be using Google slides and can provide copies for review, if needed. We will have a different them each week. They are as follows: Week of May 29: Numbers, Days of the Week Week of June 5: Weather, Months of the year Week of June 12: Time Week of June 19: The 4 seasons Week of June 26: Animals, Pets Week of July 10: Transportation Week of July 17: Clothes Week of July 24: The 5 senses Week of July 31: Family Week of August 7: Rooms and items in a house Week of August 14: Body parts Week of August 21: Toys and sports Week of August 28: Exploration, Nature Week of Sept 3: School Week of Sept 10: Feelings, Emotions *As the year progresses, more classes can be added.
