Description
Class Experience
Calling all DC fans! Here is your unique and exciting opportunity to delve deeper into your favorite superhero films. You will watch one DC movie per week and then come together in class to discuss the plot, the characters, and everyone's favorite: the Easter Eggs! Through this course, you will develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the DC Extended Universe films. You will be watching with a more critical eye than ever before, picking up details that you've missed on previous...
Students will develop their critical thinking skills and powers of observation. They will practice speaking in a group and hone their social skills. Students will learn interesting facts about the DC movies.
Students are expected to watch one DC movie per week and come to class ready to discuss.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
DC movies are known for embracing the darker side of superhero lore. Please see commonsensemedia.org reviews for each movie and consider whether the film is right for your learner.
