Class Experience
Some sensitive topics may be covered when discussing concepts in AP History courses, but they will be handled in a way that is both age-appropriate and ideologically balanced. I have been teaching AP classes for 6 years and I have 8 years of teaching experience in world history and psychology, which has trained me to approach sensitive topics in an empathetic, highly understanding way. I have also graded AP History DBQs for the College Board, which has given me an expertise on the grading process that I would love to share with your students.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
