Class Experience
On this one time class children will be introduced to the days of the week in Spanish. Play games and sing songs. Learners will be encourage to repeat the words with Abuela Toñita, she is a puertorican grandmother puppet, use in the classes to engage the learners.. Class participation will be greatly encourage. Hi, my name is Sra. Yasmin Lopez, I was born and raised in the island of Puerto Rico. I am fluent in both Spanish and English. I have a BA in Biology and have worked in the private school system, before becoming a martial arts instructor in Taekwondo. Spanish is my first language and as totally bilingual individual person, I understand the hardships of learning and mastering a second language. For 10 years I worked as a translator for an NGO. I have traveled throughout Latin America as a liaison between foreign governments and NGOs. I have experience working with children Pre-school to High School.
