Use your YuGiOh trading cars to create a database, basic statistics , graphs, and pivot tables in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets!
Class experience
This class will draw upon students' interest in trading cards to teach skills relating to data entry and analysis. The flexible-schedule format allows students to take time and add as much information to their database as possible; and allows students to share more of their work with the class. Students will understand how to input data into a spreadsheet. Students will be able to create graphs and charts based on their data. Students will be able to use formulae to calculate averages, sums, and counts.

Spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets) is required. Students also need something to base their data set on, i.e. their deck of trading cards (this need not be a huge set - around 20 cards would definitely be sufficient to work with in the class, though students can add as many as they want)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
