Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Alphabetical order- being able to put words in alphabetical order
How to use guide words to help you locate words in a dictionary
I have taught countless students how to use the dictionary as a retired Educator and Media Specialist with over 30 years of experience.
There will be no homework assigned.
Students will need a copy of a dictionary to use for the challenges.
Students will be assessed informally based upon the timed challenges and their reflections.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some dictionaries have words in them that parents may not want their children finding.
Dictionary- Websters is a good one.
