D&D Basics Class 2- You're Quite the Character- An Intro to Character Creation
This class is for learners who have never created a D&D character and would like to learn all the steps. Working through the steps together we will each build our own version of the same character.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn all the steps in the process of building a playable D&D character. This will include understanding the different methods for generating ability scores. What ability scores are and which parts of a character they effect. We will discuss Skills, Saves, Initiative, Armor Class, Proficiency Bonus, Proficiencies, Back grounds, Race and Class.
There is no homework for this class.
Students will need to show up to class with a pencil, an eraser, and a printed copy of the blank character sheet print out available for download in the course materials section on the home page for this course.

We will be covering combat in the world of Dungeons and Dragons. This will include some mild descriptions of violence. This is similar to what is encountered in cartoons that are rated as PG such as Tom and Jerry, Loony Toons, Pokémon, or Avatar the Last Airbender.
