What's included
1 live meeting
1 in-class hoursClass Experience
Students will engage in an hour long 'Wicked' themed dance workshop featuring many of the iconic songs from the hit musical soundtrack we all know and love! We will begin class with some light-hearted dancing games, to get the children moving and feeling comfortable with myself and their fellow dancers! We will then commence a 'follow-along' physical warmup, followed by a short stretch, all choreographed to songs from the Broadway musical. Once the children are warmed up & stretched, we will all learn a short dance routine to one of the songs and work on our acting and performance together. We will practice all the steps and perform it together at the end of class. We may finish class with a final game, time permitting!
Learning Goals
Students will be improving their physical fitness, co-ordination, flexibility, and choreography retention. They will also be developing their creativity and imagination as well as confidence and social skills!
Other Details

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello & welcome one and all!
My name is Emma and I am a professional theatre performer and experienced teacher in all areas of the performing arts. I teach a wide range of classes in all disciplines including ballet, musical theatre, jazz dance and more! My aim as a teacher is to nurture the children's creativity and passion for performing arts as well as developing technique and skillsets which they can carry with them in many areas of their life, not just on the stage! First and foremost, I want my students to HAVE FUN! This will allow them to develop a love for the performing arts, just like I have myself, as I believe this is fundamental key to learning any performance based skills. Performance art needs to come from a place of genuine love, and inspired creativity and this is what I hope to instil in my students. Whether they are looking to eventually study the arts as a career, or simply just let their hair down to their favourite dance track after a long day of school, I hope to provide students with a creative outlet and friendly learning environment, suitable for all ages and abilities, so what are you waiting for ? It's your beginners call for all budding thespians!
