Class Experience

Learners will expand their vocabulary knowledge by being introduced to new scientific words such as carbon dioxide and predictions. Learners will learn how to make a scientific prediction also known as a hypothesis.
Required Supplies: A clear container Distilled white vinegar (enough to fill the container halfway) Raisins (A small individual snack size box is plenty) Baking soda Spoon (To add the baking soda to the container) Food coloring (Color of your choice but nothing too dark as it may make the contents of the container hard to see) Recommended Supplies: Plate or metal sheet (to catch any spills) or I strongly recommend having some paper towels on hand. Play clothes Easy to clean surface
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
