Calling all little princesses! Come and join me for a one-off super fun Princess themed ballet class aimed at little ones between the ages of 3-5. The class will be structured in the following way ; high energy physical warm up dance, a series of follow along exercises such as hands, legs, good toes naughty toes, knee bends etc, moving exercises such as skips, marches & gallops and ending the class with some fun dance games, and freestyle dancing! This class is perfect for beginners, budding ballerinas and any little ones who just want to get moving and have some fun! Fancy dress is encouraged, bring your tiaras and tutus and I can't wait to see you all there!
Learning Goals
Preschool children primarily learn through sensory and physical experiences, and this class aims to nurture and develop children's physical, emotional and social development through the medium of dance. It will help develop both strength and stamina by improving co-ordination, flexibility and range of motion throughout the whole body. It will also increase their balance and cardiovascular health. This class also aims to nurture and develop the child's self expression and creativity. It will improve their body awareness and self confidence and provides a safe environment for them to communicate emotions in a non verbal way.

Parental Guidance
Please ensure the child has appropriate footwear and clothing for movement and physical activity, ballet shoes & tight fitting clothes are encouraged. Water must be provided for the child and adequate rest breaks at the parents discretion. There must be adequate space provided for physical activity with all potential hazards removed.

My name is Emma and I am a professional theatre performer and experienced teacher in all areas of the performing arts. I teach a wide range of classes in all disciplines including ballet, musical theatre, jazz dance and more! My aim as a teacher is to nurture the children's creativity and passion for performing arts as well as developing technique and skillsets which they can carry with them in many areas of their life, not just on the stage! First and foremost, I want my students to HAVE FUN! This will allow them to develop a love for the performing arts, just like I have myself, as I believe this is fundamental key to learning any performance based skills. Performance art needs to come from a place of genuine love, and inspired creativity and this is what I hope to instil in my students. Whether they are looking to eventually study the arts as a career, or simply just let their hair down to their favourite dance track after a long day of school, I hope to provide students with a creative outlet and friendly learning environment, suitable for all ages and abilities, so what are you waiting for ?
