Class experience
In this flexible schedule dance class, learners will jump and move to the music from Scotland's Highlands. Fans of the fierce princess Merida will be introduced to the traditional dance style seen in Brave. Dancers will participate in Highland Dance through video lessons over the course of 4 weeks. I have trained in many dance styles since I was very young and I have been teaching dance to children since 2008. Highland dance is such a fun and unique style and I enjoy sharing it with children from around the world.
Dancers should wear comfortable clothes and shoes (or bare feet) and have a small area free of any tripping hazards to dance in. Water is recommended and dancers may drink whenever they need to. Parents should supervise their student to ensure a safe environment.
