As an experienced dance teacher, I believe it is important for all dance students to learn the history behind the styles of dance they are learning in class. As a dance teacher and artist, I feel that it is very important for all students to learn the history of dance and theater arts. I have been dancing most of my life and now teach ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and creative movement to homeschoolers locally.
