Class Experience
Joy of dance and movement
I have a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Dance Studies: Dance studies and have been teaching dance for 5 years.
It is encouraged to have a scarf, wand, ribbons, or a small stuffed toy to dance with for part of the class. While leotards and ballet shoes are great for dancing stretchy clothes, socks, or bare feet are welcome.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Traditional dance clothing is welcome as is stretchy work out clothes that are not too baggy so that the students movements can clearly be seen. Dance shoes, socks and bare feet are welcome. Small spaces are ok, but having at least 4x4 ft is suggested. Having a water bottle near by is suggested.
