Strength and flexibility workout session for dancers. This class is an opportunity to work on core stength, flexibility and coordination to be a stronger healthier dancer.
This class is an ongoing weekly workout session that is focused on the strength and flexibility needs for dancers. You can join or unenroll as needed. Each class starts with a warm up and then we move into core strength and abdominals then a leg series focused on turn out and foot and ankle strength. The teacher for this class has taught and performed dance for over 10 years and has a BA in dance. She is also a certified Pilates instructor and physical therapist.
Please have a floor space large enough to lay on your back or your side. A mat is most comfortable, but a towel or soft carpet will work also.
