Description
Class Experience
In this 8 week beginner series Dance Class, a warm up will be taught through a floor stretch and standing exercises. We will begin on the floor with basic stretches and will then work on movement through basic gross motor skills through various dance games. We will move onto a standing exercise, that will include basic dance steps and more dance games will follow! Music and games will be played through a weekly theme. We will end with a fun game of Freeze Dance. Week One: Magic Fairy...
Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps with various patterns in a creative learning environment. Dancing to music will also teach the student how to develop musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!
There will be no homework assigned. However, students are encouraged to share their love of dance with others.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in these online dance classes, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself.
