In this 3 day beginners hip hop dance camp we will warm-up and stretch each class and learn a fun, upbeat hip hop routine! Feel free to dress up!

During this class we start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies including cardio and learn some hip hop moves for about 5 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat song from Encanto! Day 1: Encanto #1 - We will warm-up and stretch. We will then learn a fun routine to the "Luisa" song! Day 2: Encanto #2 - We will warm-up and stretch. We will then learn a fun routine to the "Bruno" song! Day 3: Encanto #3 - We will warm-up and stretch. We will then learn a fun routine to the "Isabela" song! *The duration of the warm-up and choreography time may vary do to student participation. Length of routine may vary depending on ability of majority to pick up choreography. *All music is age appropriate and goes with our theme. *Choreography learned will be of my own creation, inspired by the Encanto movie. *If you have already taken my Encanto #1, #2, #3 class then you have completed these classes but you can definitely repeat! *Great option for those that homeschool looking for arts or P.E. option or looking for extracurricular activity for after school or weekends!
Learning Goals
Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a routine by the end of the class!
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
