Come join this relaxed, beginner-friendly paper crafting session, where we will make paper chains of various shapes and styles, use scissors to make simple shapes, and even learn to cut a few letters without any pencils or stencils!

Class Experience

Students will learn how to cut various items from paper using folding and symmetry, but not using stencils. 
We will cover three basic mini-projects—paper chains, simple shapes, and basic alphabet lettering.

This will be a relaxed, hands-on session. We plan to smile, laugh, and be ok with mistakes! 

No previous experience is required, but you will need lots of paper—printer paper, construction paper, or maybe even some wrapping paper you have lying around—some good scissors, and a smile!...

Students will learn how to fold and cut paper without using pencils. 

Students will cultivate self-confidence and creativity through an unusual art. 

Students will relax and enjoy a low-stress activity.

Please bring several sheets of paper (construction paper, craft paper, copy paper) and your trustiest pair of scissors, a pen, and stapler.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
