Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
My goals for each student: -to independently read and decipher musical notation -to develop a musical ear and awareness of rhythm and melody -to build a habit of daily practice -to build an appreciation for the piano and joy in music-making.
Students may be asked to practice and review their music outside of the daily 15 minute sessions.
"Piano Adventures - Primer Level Lesson Book" (Purple Book) Amazon Link: https://www.amazon.com/Primer-Level-Lesson-Piano-Adventures/dp/1616770759 An acoustic piano or functional keyboard (not a toy piano) . A place to position the device (ipad, laptop, etc) so that the student's hands and piano keys can be seen. Proper seating for the child and a step to place under the feet ( the step is optional but will make your child more comfortable).
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
