Who doesn't want to be knowledgeable of current events? When I was a kid, the television sat at the end of the kitchen table and we ate dinner watching the nightly news. I grew up with an appreciation of global news, not the "who shot who" or the "if it bleeds, it leads" stories from local news, but important global news! I love recreating this for students of today!
