Daily Drawing: 20 Mins a Day (Together)
Take a little bit of time every day to draw developing good habits and artistic skills while also learning critical and fast thinking skills. Using prompts from a drawing book lets draw every day. Can you complete a multiday challenge?

Every class will be different. Come back week after week or try the flex option. A safety pin, seeds, jelly beans. Small prompts that can inspire big ideas. Little things to focus our artistic minds. Get creative. Often times we get big ideas, huge lofty plans and goals that start off strong but often burnout fast. Much faster then is possible to complete. If you are anything like me you have a large to do list that keeps growing with half started projects and goals. I've started 3 books,...
Students will learn time management, focus, and art skills.
I am an art historian with over 5 years experience in teaching. I first started teaching summer art camp to young students and at the start of every class we had a different art prompt drawn out of a hat. Students had 10 minutes to be inspired but had to use the whole time. This was a great way for students to learn time management as they needed to use all 10 but should finish the work of art also. It also helped them to think quickly and stick with ideas. If I suggested draw a dog: one student may draw a family pet, another their favorite breed, while a third draws the collar and leash of the dog they hope to get soon. This class is designed to help students learn time management, determination, quick and critical thinking.

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
