This class will focus on all aspects of Dungeons and Dragons. It will be a chance to share ideas, ask questions, and encourage fellow Dungeons and Dragons players. While there will not be any game play in this group, it will provide a chance to create characters as well as explore campaign ideas. Topics will vary each week. We will focus primarily on 5e and homebrew editions. Learners will share thoughts and ideas. They will participate in breakout rooms tailored to the aspect of the game...
Students will develop a better understanding of Dungeons and Dragons and how it is played. They will gain confidence as they share their ideas and voice their opinions.
No homework will be assigned but students may desire to work on their character and story development outside of class time.
Some worksheets will be shared in the classroom as needed.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- D & D Beyond
Learner progress is assessed informally.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Fantasy violence and weapons are discussed.
