Teaching by doing - setting this up from scratch and showing the students how it works. We can all connect to the honeypot to simulate a hacking attempt. What we will do: - Spin up a cloud server - Set up a tempting honeypot - Wait for a hacker / bot to connect - Run Linux commands to watch and explain the hacker activity - Determine which countries the hackers are connecting from We will learn/introduce the basics of: - Cybersecurity - GitHub - Docker - Linux - Scripting - IP Addresses - Cloud - Honeypots
