In this course, learners will focus on building CVC words (consonant, vowel, consonant). Learners will review letter sound knowledge, identifying beginning/middle/ending sounds in a word, and using CVC words in sentences.
Class Experience
Building CVC words will be the focus of this lesson. CVC words are three letter words that begin and end with a consonant letter and have a vowel in the middle. Letter sounds and location of letters will be the main focus. As a group, we will begin by reviewing consonant and vowel letter sounds and understanding the difference.
