Let's have some fun together! In this class we will draw the unicorn of the sea, the Narwhal! Kawaii comes from the Japanese word for cute and this trend has become a subculture worldwide. Simple shapes, giant, glassy eyes, and rounded features make these ocean creatures particularly adorable. In each class, I guide my young artists through simple instruction step-by-step focusing on developing the kawaii style shapes. We will draw several narwhal's during each class and the students choose which ones we work on. Every class is a little different! So grab your pencils, paper, and erasers and come draw with me!

Welcome! My name is Sharon Harry and I am a believer that life-long learning enables you to make anything possible!
I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from Florida State University and was very involved in K-12 service learning and volunteerism in college. Having always loved drawing, writing, and problem-solving, I started to dabble in graphic design and later found my calling in marketing. Today, I am a successful marketing and business strategy consultant as well as an Outschool Teacher. I get to do all the things I enjoy most and make a living from it as well!
After becoming a mom, I started to work with children as a coach, mentor, and GirlScout leader. I soon realized that I loved teaching more than anything else I had ever done! I believe all learning should be as hands-on as possible, so I always try to engage my students with fun activities throughout my courses.
Fun Facts: I have two wonderful daughters who I love to pieces and who challenge me to learn something new every day. In addition to being a mom, I love to travel, hike, kayak, read, write, draw, and paint.Reviews
