Description
Class Experience
In this one-time class, learners will follow fun, guided kawaii drawings about winter, including a cute narwhal. I encourage leaners to take turns talking and listening during class, sharing their ideas about winter. What to Expect in Class: This class begins with greetings and introductions. Drawing time then begins, with students taking turns choosing the next drawing from our page of winter doodles. The teacher paces the drawing for the student artists drawing along, and offers...
Students will learn how to draw several cute, kawaii drawings, including a narwhal. Students will practice discussion skills, such as listening and asking questions. Students will describe their artwork while sharing with others (optional).
No homework, although learners may want to continue working on their drawings after class.
Learners will need several sheets of drawing paper and whatever they enjoy using for drawing: pencil and eraser, markers, and/or colored pencils.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner progress is informally assessed during class to ensure students understand each step.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
