Cute Step by Step Kawaii Drawings (English OR French)
Student will select from a variety of drawings and learn step-by-step how to recreate a piece, in a positive and friendly environment. This class is perfect for beginners and anybody who loves drawing from delicious food to cute animals!

Learners will make several cute kawaii-style drawings related to the topic of food, animals or any topic from my large selection. For an "extra fun" experience, student can decide to learn vocabulary words related to their drawings IN FRENCH! We can also work on basic introduction while drawing to maximize our learning time. Followingly, if your child enjoyed the language, I offer private tutoring on Outschool. Our lesson begins with introductions and greetings. I believe it is important to build a connection with the learners. This simple relationship helps children develop emotionally and morally. In interacting with friends and I, children learn many social skills, such as how to communicate, cooper- ate, and solve problems. They practice controlling their emotions and responding to the emotions of others. As we draw together, learners converse and share their work. During class, I use a small portable board so my hands and the drawings are always visible. With over 10 years of experience teaching from kindergarten to high school, I know how to make a student comfortable no matter the skill level. I believe that learning any new skills should also build self-confidence! Learners may choose to engage in discussions, respond using chat, and/or share their artworks. Lastly, I encourage learners to chat in the classroom about themes they like to draw and to share their drawings. Hello! My name is Amelie Vallieres and I am glad you stopped by my profil! It would be a joy to have class with you. I love to teach, it is my passion! I have been teaching since 2014 after graduated with a bachelor in Education in the State of Florida. In addition, I have conducted classes in schools and online on various platforms. I truly enjoy teaching online and build connections with children around the world. I, myself, was born in Canada, moved to United States for 12 years, then move again back home, in the French speaking province of Québec. My teaching philosophy is simple, if the lessons are engaging, then students will remember the content longer. I am so excited to offer my expertise on Outschool!
Beside teaching, I love to learn languages and to travel. I was born in Québec, Canada, therefore I spoke French and English as a child. I have also lived abroad for multiple months in France, Peru, Germany and Switzerland. I am now living in Valleyfield, Québec, Canada.
