Class Experience
As students follow a fun guided kawaii drawing lesson, they discuss animals that live in the ocean. I encourage learners to talk during class, sharing their ideas about sea creatures. What to Expect in Class: This cute drawing class begins with quick introductions and greetings. Then learners take turns choosing what to draw from our page of cute sea creature drawings. Cute Sea Creature Drawing: Kawaii Drawing 7-11 * Students will learn how to draw several cute, kawaii sea animals. * Students will practice discussion skills, such as listening and asking questions. * Students will describe their artwork while sharing with others (optional).
No homework, although learners may want to continue working on their drawings after class.
Learners will need several sheets of drawing paper and whatever they enjoy using for drawing: pencil and eraser, markers, or colored pencils.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner progress is informally assessed during class to ensure students understand each step.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
