This is a one time class where students can make head bands start to finish in the 20 minutes of class. You can do your headband by hand (it will be thicker without a finished underside) or if you have a sewing machine you can use your sewing machine. I will be showing you how to make your headband in three different ways. I have taught sewing classes to children 8 - 18 for 6 years.
If you want to make more then one and don't get them done in class. You need to finish outside of class.
1/4 a yard of Jersey knit fabric Needle Thread Sewing machine (optional) Scissors Pins Pencil
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Assessment is informal. I will just look at their work at the end of class.
20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The student will be using a sewing machine or a needle. If they need help please be their to help them.
