Each week in this ongoing drawing club, learners will make 3 to 4 cute kawaii-style drawings. We will draw and color 3 to 4 kawaii drawings grouped on a theme. Themes include seasonal fruits and vegetables, breakfast foods, desserts, and foods from around the world. I encourage learners to draw with me and add their own creative touches. This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to draw several kawaii style subjects each week. Students will practice discussion and listening skills.
No homework, although artists may want to continue their kawaii drawings after class.
Paper for drawing: sketchpad, copy paper, or any drawing paper of your preference. Pencil and eraser, markers, crayons, or anything you enjoy using for drawing and coloring!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Assessment is informal in this drawing club, as the teacher makes sure young artists understand every step for each drawing.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
