Together, we will learn to how draw cute "Kawaii" style creatures in 5 easy steps. I will be using the book, "How to Draw a Unicorn and Other Cute Animals, by Lulu Mayo, as inspiration and a resource for this class. Children do NOT need this book to participate in the class. I do NOT draw with the learners, as the intention of this class lies beyond following directions. I intend to provide a space that strengthens visual analysis, hand eye coordination, and critical thinking skills. These...
Students will practice fine motor skills, while following directions and stretching their imaginations.
Pencil, Eraser, Pencil Sharpener, Colored Pencils, Sketch book, Or Stapled stack of at least 10 pieces of paper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner is asked to keep all their drawings in one place. A sketch book or paper stapled together will work. This will act as an assessment for for our class.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
