Class Experience
Cute Cat Calendar: October Kawaii Drawing: Learning Goals: *Students will learn about weather and activities associated with October. *Students will learn how to draw a cute night time cat for October. *Students will learn elements of kawaii style drawing. *Students will practice discussion and listening skills.
I am a currently certified teacher with over 20 years of experience. My teaching certifications include Visual Art and Gifted Education from the state of Virginia in the US. My teaching style favors student interests, discussion, and creativity. I encourage young artists to experiment, trust their ideas, and be okay with mistakes.
No homework, although artists may want to continue their kawaii drawings after class.
1 file available upon enrollmentSupply List: *You will need whatever you enjoy using for drawing: pencil and eraser, markers, crayons, and/or colored pencils; and, *Paper, or *A printed copy of our calendar page. When you enroll, you will find a printable calendar page in our classroom.
Assessment is informal in this drawing class, as the teacher makes sure young artists understand steps for each drawing.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
