In this private 1:1 tutoring session, students will receive personalized instruction tailored to their current math level, from Algebra I to Algebra II (excluding geometry). Whether reviewing homework or tackling new concepts, each session is designed to build confidence and academic success. Please provide any homework or specific topics at least 5 hours before the session, or I will provide relevant materials. I use a mix of worksheets, slides with interactive features, illustrations, and real-life examples, with optional use of Kahoot for a fun learning experience. Weekly sessions are recommended unless more intensive instruction is needed. Students will receive customized instruction in Algebra I & II, focusing on their specific needs and areas of difficulty. Topics I cover include (but are not limited to): ✏️ Solving Linear Equations and Inequalities ✏️ Graphing Linear Functions ✏️ Quadratic Functions and Equations ✏️ Polynomials and Factoring ✏️ Exponential and Logarithmic Functions ✏️ Complex Numbers ✏️ Probability and Statistics Each session is 60 minutes long and begins with a brief review of the student's progress and any specific challenges they are facing. We will then focus on either reviewing provided homework or covering new material. The session will end with a summary of what was learned and an outline of any recommended practice for the next session. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I use a combination of: Worksheets and slides with interactive elements Real-life examples to make abstract concepts relatable Illustrations to visually explain complex ideas Optional Kahoot quizzes for engaging practice
Learning Goals
Students will develop a strong understanding of Pre-Algebra and Algebra I & II concepts, enabling them to solve equations, inequalities, and word problems with confidence.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics and have completed numerous math courses up to Calculus II. Currently, I am a graduate student in Data Science and Engineering. I have extensive experience tutoring mathematics, having worked with elementary-aged students since high school and continuing to do so throughout my academic career. My background equips me with the knowledge and skills to effectively teach and support students in Pre-Algebra and Algebra I & II.
