This course is perfect for a teenager that is seeking their first job in customer service. We will talk about skills for applying and interviewing to customer service jobs, then go into detail about appropriate skills necessary to be successful. Customer service might seem pretty straight forward, but this will give the learner a chance to really understand what is required of them in a role like this. Customer service could range from a position in a retail store, a restaurant or coffee shop, or even a position answering phone calls. We will cover the basics of customer service, and what to look for when training in this type of role. Day 1: -We will go over how to apply and interview for a customer service position. This will take the majority of the first day. We will talk about experiences anyone in the course has had thus far and how they felt it went. We will go into details on the todo and the not-to-dos in this situation. Day 2: -We will go over customer service standards. -We will talk about how to handle challenging situations without losing the customer service attitude. -We will talk about working with others and how to be a part of the team. -We will discuss how to best learn from the role they are in and move up quickly to new and exciting opportunities. Day 3: -We will do a 15-20 minute recap on what was discussed the previous weeks. -We will then do some role play for customer service situations. Various situations that they will face in the customer service world, and how to appropriately handle them. -We will then answer any and all questions the learners have and that will be the end of the course.
