Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Student will learn to correctly write all 26 letters of the Alphabet in cursive.
I have been an educator for over 10 years, and a homeschool mom. I taught many students how to write in cursive and seen how much it has helped them with their memory and thinking skills. I have used these methods with my daughter when she was in second grade, and her writing and reading skills have expanded.
After each class, I would love for the students to practice what they have learned. Writing the letters in the sand, air, shaving cream, with playdough, drawing pictures with the letters throughout it, or using your imagination to practice each stroke. Taking a photo of how they practiced and sharing it to the class the next time is encouraged. I want them to have fun, and explore the world of cursive writing.
Please bring: Pen (pencils are hard to see on the computer screens) Primary handwriting paper: Paper with solid and dotted lines and a smiling face 😀
Each class I will do an informal assessment. I will see what areas the student needs improvement on and let the parents know what to work on at home.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents are always encouraged to join in with their child.
