1 in-class hoursHomework
1 hour per week. There may be optional homework assigned between the first and second class, which I check during the second class. At the end of the second class, I provide recommendations for how to use cursive to suit students goals in their daily lives.Assessment
I regularly have students show me their work on their paper to ensure they're keeping up with the class. Also, I enjoy being able to give them praise and constructive feedback.Class Experience
In this class that meets twice for 30 minutes per meeting, you'll learn how to write your name, and the key difficult letters for beginners to write. Just follow along, show me your work, and get involved! In our first meeting, you'll learn how to write your name in cursive, and I'll give you some special tips to customize your unique signature just the way you like it. We'll talk about your goals in this class and I'll give you some tips to help you move towards writing in the style that best suits your needs. During the first class, I'll ask you why you're interested in learning cursive and what your goals are, so be ready to speak your mind at the beginning, and have a few giggles throughout, too! If requested, I can provide homework for you to finish before our second class. In our second meeting, we'll delve deeper into accomplishing your specific goals (taking faster notes, making your writing clear, or writing beautifully) and I'll tell you some real-world tricks and applications of cursive writing. If you had assigned homework, you'll have a chance to show it off, too! I'm happy to give every student feedback and can tell you your strength, and an extra tip to make a challenge easier. We'll go over upper and lower case letters, and you'll get tips for writing by yourself, too. Don't worry, it's much easier than you think!

I've taught my own original curriculum at a high-end private training school for six years, and now I'm working independently to offer my courses online! I have an Honors Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and am TESOL Certified.
I value students learning by having fun and connecting to stories both academically and through life experience. I'm also a lover of debates! I believe in encouraging students to hone their existing strengths and interests to thrive in an academic environment.
I've taught everything from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to 1984, but my ultimate favorite to teach is anything Harry Potter! Critical thinking is also another one of my favorite things to teach.
