In this class, learners will be taught the basics of cursive handwriting. They will learn how to hold the pen and/or pencil comfortably to produce legible letter formations. They will learn how to connect the letters of their name, while focusing on the position of each letter on the lined paper. With over 13 years of experience teaching and tutoring students aged 5-17 in ELA and cursive handwriting, I bring a strong background in educational methods and tailored instruction.

This class focuses solely on cursive handwriting, with no content that should be upsetting or scary. All activities are designed to be engaging and educational. No third-party tools or media with content ratings are used.
We will used the attached handwriting sheet (please print before class), to practice our cursive writing. Youtube may be used for the following: Demonstrate Techniques: Provide video demonstrations of cursive writing techniques and stroke patterns. Offer Examples: Show examples of beautifully written cursive handwriting to inspire and guide students. Engage with Tutorials: Use tutorials from experienced handwriters for additional instruction and practice tips. Support Practice: Offer supplementary videos that students can watch for extra practice at home. Videos will be previewed by me before class to ensure age appropriateness. Students do not need an account to access the videos.
