Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3
Beginner Level
In this class, learners will be taught the basics of cursive handwriting. They will learn how to hold the pen and/or pencil comfortably to produce legible letter formations. They will learn how to connect the letters of their name, while focusing on the position of each letter on the lined paper. Slanting the paper to the right or left is also important and will be determined based on the dominant hand of the learner. By the end of the class the learners will be able to confidently write their full name and signature in cursive.

What topics will you cover?
The class covers foundational cursive strokes, individual letters, letter connections, and culminates with two handwriting projects.

How is your class structured?
The class is structured into weekly lessons with two 35-minute sessions per week. Each week focuses on specific letters or skills, with review sessions and project preparation in the middle and end of the course.

How will you teach?
Instruction will include a mix of video tutorials, interactive practice sessions, and guided activities. Students will receive step-by-step demonstrations and feedback on their work.

What's your teaching style?
My teaching style is supportive and engaging, with an emphasis on patience and positive reinforcement. I use visual aids, hands-on activities, and clear explanations to make learning enjoyable.

How much will learners get to interact with you?
Learners will interact with me through live lessons, Q&A sessions, and feedback on their submitted assignments. They'll engage with video clips for demonstrations and participate in discussions about their progress and projects.
