Description
Class Experience
Students will learn: -how quickly space technology is advancing -how soon they might be able to move to Mars -how there can be setbacks in this kind of progress when testing has explosive results -how perseverance and progress go hand in hand They will also learn discussion skills and might pick up some rocket science
I am a licensed Ham Radio Operator, and I've built rockets and made rocket fuels in the past. (We will NOT be teaching learners how to make their own rocket fuel in this class).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
There will be footage shared of (unmanned) rockets crash-landing.
