Teacher Tom is a top educator on Outschool! See Outschool's EPIC Spotlight on Teacher Tom: https://teach.outschool.com/spotlights/ This class will be the same as my popular ongoing class that has been running for almost a year! (But with a few bonuses: A slightly lower price, and being able to be with the same group of learners for the entire semester) During this class, we will be talking about the latest happenings in space technology and rocket launches! The class will be a combination...
Students will learn: -how quickly space technology is advancing -how soon they might be able to move to Mars -how there can be setbacks in this kind of progress when testing has explosive results -how perseverance and progress go hand in hand They will also learn discussion skills and some rocket science

I have successfully taught this popular class for almost a year. I am currently featured as one of Outschool's EPIC teachers: https://teach.outschool.com/spotlights/
Learners are encouraged to watch Rocket Launches, Space Walks, and other events live as they are able
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
There will be footage shared of (unmanned) rockets crash-landing. As we cover current events, there may be reasons to share footage of manned rockets crash-landing. (Parents will be notified in advance if this becomes possible)
