Description

Class Experience

Students will learn about The Great Migration of animals in East Africa. Our learning outcomes for this course includes reading comprehension, discussion etiquette, and developing an overall keenness for seeking knowledge about world events.
Professional Educator License
Certified in Elementary Education 1-6th for Literacy, Science, Math, Social Studies, and History.
Students are encouraged to share what they've learned in the news with a member of their family!
 4 files available upon enrollment
1. I will supply curriculum materials. They are in the form of printable pdf documents. -Students are not required to print anything unless they prefer to. Three articles with three difficulty levels are attached to the course. Students are asked to choose only ONE article that matches their current reading level. Once chosen, students have the opportunity to print that ONE article of choice. -Additionally, the activities pdf is vast. Students are only required to choose ONE activity to go with their article. If they decide to print, be sure to print ONLY the selected page your student is interested in from the activities pdf. 2. I ask student to have a notebook, and pencil ready.
Learner progress is informally assessed based on participation, enthusiasm, and relevant commentary. 
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
