Let's amp up the "curl power" with some curly-do's! Hair tutorials often don't take into consideration the weight and texture of our curly locks. We don't want to use a brush or a comb to part our strands, nor do our curls want to be told what to do. In this one-time class, we will learn to work with our curls to find the styles that work for us! We will explore faux french braids, fish tale braids, up-do's, and down-do's ... and of course, we'll have some good ol' fashioned curl talk! Let's continue to level up and show our curls the stylish love they deserve!

Welcome to my classroom where I believe every student has a purpose, value, voice, and place! The classes I offer range from character building classes to social groups and beyond. My professional journey and experience has been ANYTHING but traditional! That said, I earned a Masters of Science in Mathematics Education from University of Central Florida, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland. Upon graduation, I traveled abroad where I homeschooled a family for a year, taught English and Empower Girl classes in remote villages in the Dominican Republic, composed curriculum and collaborated with an organization in Africa, tutored middle and high school students in math, as well as having taught various character building lessons over the years. More recently, I taught ESL online to students in China and have enjoyed all the amazing connections I have made across the world!
