In this follow-up class to Curly Hair 101, learners will take what they've learned and put it to practice with guided help!

Are you ready to apply what you learned in Curly Hair 101 and level up with some guided practice? In Curly Hair 201, we will do just that! Curly-haired learners will come to class with their wet locks, a wide-tooth comb (or detangling flex brush), any and all curl-styling products, and a "can-do-curl-do" attitude! Learners are invited to ask any questions they might have as we all embrace our curls and let them bounce! I can't wait to sculpt, plop, and curl with you! Let's show our curls some love!

Learner will need to bring: -their wet hair -wide-tooth comb, flex brush, or what they use to detangle after showering -any curl-styling products they have (referring to what was learned in Curly Hair 101) -access to water (i.e. spray bottle or sink) -a towel or shirt (if they "plop") -and a can-do-curl-do attitude!

Welcome to my classroom where I believe every student has a purpose, value, voice, and place! The classes I offer range from character building classes to social groups and beyond. My professional journey and experience has been ANYTHING but traditional! That said, I earned a Masters of Science in Mathematics Education from University of Central Florida, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland. Upon graduation, I traveled abroad where I homeschooled a family for a year, taught English and Empower Girl classes in remote villages in the Dominican Republic, composed curriculum and collaborated with an organization in Africa, tutored middle and high school students in math, as well as having taught various character building lessons over the years. More recently, I taught ESL online to students in China and have enjoyed all the amazing connections I have made across the world!
