In this ongoing class, we will spend each week looking at everyday objects, insects, and plant & animal cells through the lens of a digital microscope. The objects that appear on the screen will spur exciting and thought-provoking science discussions.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 6
Each week students in the class will propose a list of items to view under magnification. The class will then vote, and we will examine the top picks using the digital microscope. I will add a few sample items I have prepared ahead of time along with a short presentation or illustration to go along with the microscopic viewing. I am an Information Technology professional with more than 25 years' experience working in technology, leadership, and mentoring. I have been involved with coaching sports teams, technology teams and Boy Scouts. I have taught more than 400 learners on the Outschool platform.
